HOW TO CONVERT IMAGES TO A VECTOR FORMAT
WITH CORELDRAW

CorelDRAW is a vector graphics editor developed and marketed by Corel Corporation of Ottawa, Canada. It is also the name of Corel's Graphics Suite.

STEP 1: Open the raster image that you're looking to convert by selecting either Open or Import from the File menu.

STEP 2: Select that image using the select tool.

STEP 3: Click 'Trace Bitmap'. This will drop down and give you some options, pick the most relevant option.

STEP 4: Once you select your Trace Bitmap mode you will be shown the PowerTRACE screen. In the screenshot you can see that I have selected to remove all colors and to eliminate the background. These are not required settings, but generally will give you optimal results. Play around with all of these settings to see what they do.

STEP 5: Once you have a satisfactory result you can click OK which will close the PowerTRACE screen.

NOTE: The vectoization process is now complete.
