ALTERNATIVE INSTALLATION
UPDATE DRIVER SOFTWARE DOES NOT DISPLAY WHEN CONNECTING THE CUTTER


NOTE: If the driver does not install or the installation fails after connecting the cutter via USB and powering on, follow these steps:


IMPORTANT: In order to follow this instructions make sure that the TC_Series Driver folder from the TC_Series Driver.exe file has been extracted.

STEP 1: Open the Device Manager.

To access Device Manager, use any of the following methods
:
  1. Start > Run > and type: devmgmt.msc
  2. Start > Control Panel > Systems > Hardware tab > Device Manager
  3. Hold the Windows Key + Pause Break > Hardware tab > Device Manager
  4. Right click the My Computer icon > choose Properties > Hardware tab > Device Manager
STEP 2: Locate Other Devices and double click on CDC RS-232 Emulation Demo.


STEP 3: The CDC RS-232 Emulation Demo properties will display. Select the Driver tab and click the Update Driver button.


STEP 4: The Update Driver Software will display, now follow Step 7 on the Installation Guide.
