FOUND NEW HARDWARE WIZARD DOES NOT DISPLAY WHEN CONNECTING THE CUTTER
NOTE: If the driver does not install or the installation fails after connecting the cutter via USB and power on, follow these steps:
IMPORTANT: In order to follow this instructions the Driver disc is required.
STEP 1: Insert the Driver disc into your computer. The disc is located in the accessories box (small cardboard box).
STEP 2: Open the Device Manager.
To access Device Manager, use any of the following methods:
STEP 4: The USB Serial Port Properties will display. Select the Driver tab and click the Update Driver button.
STEP 5: The Found New Hardware Wizard will open, select Yes, this time only and click Next.
STEP 6: Select Install from a list or specific location (Advanced) and then click Next.
STEP 7: Place a check mark under Include this location in the search then press the Browse button.
STEP 8: Search and select your CD Drive then select the driver file and press OK.
NOTE: The Found New Hardware Wizard will look for the driver. This might take a few minutes.
NOTE: The following message may appear during the driver installation, select Continue Anyway.
NOTE: The Found New Hardware Wizard will copy the driver files.
STEP 9: Once the driver has been successfully installed you will see the following screen. Press Finish.
NOTE: The following message will display notifying that the driver was installed.
NOTE: This is how the device driver properties should look like after updating.
NOTE: This is how the device manager USB Serial Port properties should look like after updating.
NOTE: The next step is to install the Cutting Software.
