DRIVER INSTALLATION FAILS AFTER CONNECTING THE CUTTER TO THE COMPUTER
NOTE: If the driver does not install or the installation fails after connecting the cutter via USB and power on, follow these steps:
STEP 1: Open the Device Manager.
To access Device Manager, use any of the following methods:
STEP 3: The USB Serial Port Properties will display. Select the Driver tab and click the Update Driver button.
STEP 4: The Update Driver Software will open, select Search automatically for updated driver software.
NOTE: The Update Driver Software will look for the driver. This might take a few minutes.
NOTE: The following message may appear during the driver installation, select Install this driver software anyway.
STEP 5: Once the driver has been successfully installed you will see the following screen. Press Close.
NOTE: The following message will display notifying that the driver was installed.
NOTE: This is how the device driver properties should look like after updating.
NOTE: This is how the device manager USB Serial Port properties should look like after updating.
NOTE: The next step is to install the Cutting Software.
